Create a RAILGUN private wallet or restore one from a mnemonic. Your mnemonic is encrypted with your password and stored in the browser's IndexedDB — it is never sent anywhere.

2. Shield ETH
Move ETH from your normal wallet into your RAILGUN private balance. This is a normal transaction signed by your wallet — the only wallet-connect step.
RAILGUN shield fee: 0.25% (protocol fee, sent to RAILGUN treasury).
Your ETH is wrapped to WETH and deposited into the RAILGUN contract.

RAILGUN's Private Proof of Innocence (PPOI) checks that your shielded funds are not linked to sanctioned addresses. The status shown here comes from the SDK — never a fake timer.

Unshield ETH to a fresh 0x address via a RAILGUN broadcaster. The fresh address signs nothing, pays no gas, and isn't linked on-chain to your old wallet — it stays SEALED.
Costs: Shield 0.25% + Unshield 0.25% + broadcaster fee (quoted live). No hook fee for migration.
Broadcaster pays gas from your private balance. Self-signing fallback shows “this links your wallet”.
One RAILGUN cross-contract call via Relay Adapt: unshield WETH → unwrap → buy $BUNKER on our Uniswap v4 pool (exact-input, 1% hook fee in ETH) → deliver tokens to a fresh address.
Self-signing links your wallet. No broadcaster available. If you sign this yourself, your paying wallet is visible on-chain. Privacy is reduced.
5. Unshield / Exit
Withdraw leftover ETH or tokens from your RAILGUN private balance to a normal wallet.
If you shield and unshield the same odd amount minutes apart, the link is easy to guess.
If you send funds back to your old wallet, the link is obvious.
Timing analysis: the gap between your shield and the action narrows the set of possible users.
The token purchase itself is visible on-chain — only the payer's identity is obscured.
RAILGUN's privacy depends on the size of the shielded pool on Ethereum. A larger pool means a larger anonymity set.
Bunker-specific caveat: RAILGUN's privacy uses zk-SNARKs built on elliptic-curve math. If ECDSA-style math breaks, privacy could weaken — but your fresh address stays sealed either way, because it never signs.
Governance risk: The RAILGUN Relay contract is an upgradeable, pausable proxy (EIP-1967). Its governance can upgrade the implementation or pause the contract at any time.
